I am so, so happy it's now sunny here in the UK!
This past weekend I volunteered through REM at Bristol's annual Harbourside Festival doing artist liaison for the Queen Square stage, assisting the lovely stage manager Jen and the programmer Tony Benjamin. Acts on the stage included The Craft, a supercool British hip hop and R'n'B group (to me, not unlike N Dubz in the way they had a female singer, and two male rappers/MCs, only 1000000 times better!!), Jassi Sidhu, a hugely energetic Bhangra group from Birmingham, the incredible Sheelanagig, a crazy Gypsy rock band, and the Black Roots and DJ Derek headlining. All of the acts were completely fantastic and definitely made me realise how much I love working with artists at live events!
This week I haven't been up to much - scoping out more possible volunteering opportunities, applying for jobs, and shopping with Mama Smith - I am now the proud owner of the most beautiful pair of Missoni sunglasses!
And a gorgeous new summery dress. I am somewhat frantically dieting now the sun has its little hat on - I am NOT shorts ready!!

Eylure - For Men
I was pretty stunned when I came across these little numbers...
But then I thought about it, and it was really only a matter of time before someone created these!
What you're looking at are Eylure's latest false eyelash offering, what I am calling 'Guylashes', or Eylure Natural Lashes For Men.
Now, we already have everything else beauty/cosmetic wise for men... makeup, hair dye, moisturisers, self tanners etc etc etc so really, why not eyelashes too?
I think just as some men hate fake eyelashes on girls, so some girls will probably dub this new metrosexual product 'gay', but actually I see these being popular with (extreme) well groomed men, both gay and straight!
I look forward to spotting my first pair fluttering this Christmas season!

THAT Harper's Bazaar cover
Literally when I saw this, my mind was blown. HOW fantastic is this?!
For their December 2011 cover, Harper's (UK) have taken the SUPEREST supermodels of the 90s and transformed them into Duran Duran, for the band's new song 'Girl Panic'.
Each of the models is one of the band, with Naomi Campbell as lead singer Simon Le Bon. I am so inspired by how FABULOUS they all look in their forties, and the fashion and rocking attitude in the spread is fabulous. Truly I think the best magazine cover I have seen in a long time, but with these women reunited how could you go wrong?!
From L - R: Yasmin Le Bon, Helena Christensen, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, and Eva Herzigova.
